Glorious Homecoming: Koo Kien Keat - Tan Boon Heong
This blog is sparked into motion with the remarkable achievements of Malaysian badminton heroes Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong wining the prestigious All-England title 2007 and also the Swiss Open 2007 crown. The two titles took their tally to four in just six international tournaments together since they forged the partnership last October. They were also the champions in the Asian Games in Doha last December and in the Malaysian Open 2006.Arriving home to a heroes' welcome Tuesday 20 March 2007, both Kien Keat and Boon Heong were pleasantly surprised to see the big turnout at the airport.
“If this is the treatment that I will get for winning titles, I will be out to win more. This is really heart-warming. I just want to say a big thank you to all our supporters,” said Kien Keat.
“I will keep my promise and go bald within the week.”
